Description Press the guide under the pressure foot and lower the needle into the hole. Lower the pressure foot to hold the guide firmly. Straighten the guide so that it is parallel with the edge of the throat plate. Place masking tape, several layers of sticky notes or Sewing Edge (pictured) up against the side of the guide to mark a Perfect Scant 1/4″. Remove the guide and use the sewing edge to guide your fabric as you sew. Related
