Description Acacia suaveolens is found in heath and woodland on sandstone on the coast and ranges of eastern Australia. The latin word suaveolens means sweet smelling. The slim plant grows to about 1.5m, with stiff blue-green leaf-like phyllodes up to 12cm long arising at right angles to the angular stems. The pale yellow flower heads occur in groups of 6-10.
