Description This excellent starter kit contains four packs of samples for a total of 40 specimens of common rock and mineral types; ten each of sedimentary, igneous, metamorphic and minerals. Kit contains samples such as shale, sandstone, granite, pumice, phyllite, slate, fluorite and feldspar. Each specimen measures 1-1.5″ in size. Rock identification charts are included.
